Glorious Blooms!
A great modern Hybrid Tea is a yellow rose called Glorious. Ranked third favourite Hybrid Tea in New Zealand by Rose Society members in 2016 as well as ranking 6th in terms of health it puts on a stunning display in the garden. It’s one that is well known on the show benches around the country as well!

A new release from Tasman Bay Roses recently
is a Hybrid Tea rose called Acapella. An exceptional grower of cherry pink with a silver reverse. It’s extremely fragrant on a tall healthy bush and puts on a great display in the garden. The photos are from one of our members who has one growing in a pot temporarily in it’s first year.

Just a reminder to everyone that on this weekend are the Sweet Pea Festival at the Auckland Horticultural Council, 990 Great North Road, Western Springs. 10:00am – 3:00pm. Public Viewing admission $2.00 …and the Franklin Rose Show and Competition at the Waiuku Festival of Flowers in Waiuku.
